Camden County has a number of fireworks displays to help celebrate Labor Day Weekend. As a Camden County resident, these fireworks are a fun way to get out and enjoy the benefits of our tourist community. Take advantage of these booming displays to spend time with your friends and family. Are you looking for a fun event to attend at the Lake of the Ozarks? As the Presiding Commissioner of Camden County , Greg Hasty knows how important it is for locals to come out and support all the fantastic events we have in the area. The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is this weekend (8/25 & 8/26) and we have the schedule of events so you know when to come out and catch the races. Greg Hasty has a vast history in Camden County. He's a great leader in our county and has made strides to help improve the local government in the past four years. Greg is running for re-election of Camden County Presiding Commissioner and he's ready to keep making improvements to our county. If you aren't familiar with Greg, take a look below to learn about his background and history in Camden County! Greg’s family was involved in the founding of The United State of America. His 6th Great Grandfather was “present at the siege of Little York in the taking of Lord Cornwallis”. Greg’s family moved West after the American Revolution, and settled in the lake area in the 1820’s. His grandmother was born near Old Sagrada, in Camden County in 1906. Greg attended grade school in Richland, Missouri, and graduated from high school in Eldon, Missouri. He decided on a career in surveying before graduating high school, and completed a two year program for Surveying and Civil Engi

As the election nears closer and closer, Greg Hasty wants to remind the citizens of Camden County of all the great things he's accomplished in his first term as Presiding Commissioner of Camden County . If you'd like to learn more about the positive impact Hasty has made on our county, take a look below! - As promised 4 years ago, we have new FEMA flood maps for Camden County. These new maps remove thousands of homes from the flood hazard area. This saves these homeowners millions of dollars in insurance premiums every year. - As promised 4 years ago, The Camden County Commission has authorized a complete rewrite of the ULC of Camden County. We’re fixing many long standing problems, and reducing the COST OF HOUSING. If I have anything to say, which I obviously do, we’ll eliminate the 25 FOOT WATERFRONT SETBACK. - The COMMISSION authorized and accomplished the first significant raise of employee pay in 10 years, while ALSO improving the financial statue of the County.
