It's important to have a leader in the area who cares about the Lake of the Ozarks. As a life-long resident of the Lake, Greg Hasty works hard each day to help our county succeed. The Presiding Commissioner of Camden County is here for our community. Take a look below to learn who Greg Hasty is and how he got into the political arena. From the early 1990’s forward, Greg, was involved in land planning, construction management, and land development for many investors at the Lake of the Ozarks. He became a licensed Real Estate Broker in the mid-1990’s,  to handle land acquisition, development, and sales of waterfront lots on the Lake of the Ozarks for a lake developer. Since the mid-1990’s his survey office has been on the square in Camdenton. Greg has served on the planning and zoning board in Camdenton, for over 10 years. He feels like he has made great progress so far and wants to keep the ball rolling for the betterment of the county. Lake of the Ozarks is near and dear to his heart and he wants to make a positive impact on the area! This is a crucial time for Camden County, and an experienced, knowledgeable, visionary leader is what this community needs. As your presiding Camden County Commissioner , Greg Hasty takes pride his the ability to work to improve our great community. The Lake of the Ozarks and Camden County hold a dear place in his heart - since Greg was born and raised in the area. His goal as your commissioner is the help make this area the best it can be! To learn a little bit more about him, take a look below! Greg’s family was involved in the founding of The United State of America. His 6th Great Grandfather was “present at the siege of Little York in the taking of Lord Cornwallis”. Greg’s family moved West after the American Revolution and settled in the lake area in the 1820’s. His grandmother was born near Old Sagrada, in Camden County in 1906. Greg attended grade school in Richland, Missouri, and graduated from high school in Eldon, Missouri. He decided on a career in surveying before grad...
