June Events in Camden County

There are a TON of events taking place in the month of June. It's a great time for area residents to get out and enjoy the perks of living at the Lake of the Ozarks. Lake Race 2018

Lake Race events on the Bagnell Dam Strip will take place on Friday and Saturday, June 1-2, 2018. Designated parking areas are below the Dam and at Christ the King Church at the top of the Strip. Shuttles will run Friday & Saturday. Please visit the Lake Race website for complete parking information. Enjoy over one week of action-packed powerboat and racing-themed events at Lake of the Ozarks, starting May 31st, 2018.

Lake Area Community Orchestra at Ha Ha Tonka State Park

The Lake Area Community Orchestra will again be staging one of its free Summer Concerts at Ha Ha Tonka State Park on Tuesday, June 5, beginning at 7:00 pm. Community members and visitors are cordially invited. The 45 participants range in age from high school to the 70's and come from many communities surrounding the Lake of the Ozarks. The concert should be of interest to young and old alike with a variety that includes marches, show tunes, Dixieland, Bolero, and Victory at Sea.

Run With the Horses 5K/10K Fun Walk/Run

Come join the fun with the horses! Fun 5/K/10K Run or Walk and 1 Mile Walk/Run for Children. Registration 6:30 AM; Race starts at 7:30 AM. Can-Am Police-Fire Games

The Can-Am Games promote physical fitness and camaraderie among and between law enforcement, fire service, EMS, protective services personnel and agencies from both Canada and the United States. Nearly 50 competitive sporting events will be held all over the Lake including; Laurie, Sunrise Beach, Camdenton, Osage Beach and Lake Ozark as well as in Springfield and Lebanon. Dogwood Animal Shelter Trivia Night

Join 101.9 The Wave for the 1st Annual Dogwood Animal Shelter Trivia Night on Saturday, June 30th at the shelter’s Community Room in Osage Beach. There will be 8 rounds of trivia questions and a 50/50 drawing. Cost is $120 for a table of 6 people on a team. Participants are welcome to bring their own food and drinks.
