July Events in Camden County

July is a BUSY month around the area. There are a ton of fun and exciting events happening. If you're looking for a fun way to get out and enjoy our county, you've come to the right place! As your Presiding Commissioner of Camden County, Greg Hasty has provided some thrilling events that you can enjoy with your friends and family. These events are just ONE of the reasons why living near the Lake of the Ozarks is a blessing. Take a look below to choose which event you are most looking forward to attending!

"Party in the Sticks" w/Jamey Johnson at Ozarks Amphitheater

July 6th
The Ozarks Amphitheater's own "Party In The Sticks" with Jamey Johnson with Special Guests Craig Campbell and Stoney LaRue. The concert starts at 7pm Ozarks Amphitheater was recently voted #5 of the Best Live Music Venues in Missouri. This beautiful outdoor venue is nestled in the heart of the Lake of the Ozarks. Jr. Golf Camp at Old Kinderhook

July 09 - July 12
Golf camp for children 18 and under. It's a great way to get your child interested in the game of golf. Golfing is a life-long skill and instrumental in many business and networking occasions. Set your child up to learn more about the game and how to play at this camp! Cost for the camp is $75 per child. Camp times: 6:00 - 7:00 pm each evening. Swap Meet at Camden County Museum

July 13 - July 14
Visit the Historic Camden County Museum from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. A variety of vendors will be found inside and outside. Desirable merchandise of all varieties, lunch available, free tours, bookstore, family fun. Admission free for this event. Lunch available to purchase on site.

Hot Summer Nights at the Bagnell Dam Strip

July 13
Hot Summer Nights, a classic vehicle cruise and family night on the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark. 6:00 - 11:00 pm (rain or shine). It's a fun way to entertain your family of all ages. Free admission and participation. All makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles will line the Strip and cruise around. This kid-friendly event offers games, activities, live entertainment and more.

Artsy Affair at the Lake Arts Council Office

July 18
Locally and nationally acclaimed artist, MaryAndeline, will be conducting a workshop at our office for twenty students to learn how to paint on glass. The participants will be painting a cactus flower on a margarita glass. All art supplies will be provided along with light snacks and adult beverages. Cost is $30.00 per person and reservations are required due to the limited amount of space available.

Ice Cream Social & Classic Car Cruise-In at the Camden County Museum

July 21
Classic Car Cruise-In in the parking lot of the Camden County Museum. Free admission. Ice cream & desserts available inside for a donation. While you're here, take a look around the museum. It's full of history, interesting artifacts, and information about our county!

Aquapalooza 2018 at Dog Days Bar & Grill

July 21
The Lake's Largest FAMILY Boating event will be held July 21st. The Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers invites ALL BOATERS to join them for a great day on the water. Live music and activities will keep you having fun all day long. On the Water Party at Dog Days Restaurant at the 19mm, just west of the Grand Glaize Bridge.

Now that you've gotten a good idea of the upcoming events you can attend, you're ready to make plans for the month. As a citizen of Camden County, it's important to get out and take advantage of these fantastic events we have going on throughout the month. Another important thing to do as a resident is to vote. If you haven't made plans to vote on August 7th, mark your calendars! You have the right to choose who represents you and your area. Greg Hasty would appreciate your vote for Presiding Commissioner. He's made many changes, as promised four years ago, and will continue to work hard for the residents of Camden County moving forward!
