1) Research Candidate History
Get to know the past of the candidate you are considering. The credentials of candidates is an easy way to see if someone is qualified for the task at hand - in your opinion, of course. If they have held office in the past, take a look at the changes and impact they have made while in office. This is a great way to learn about the personal side of the candidate, as well.2) Tune in to Debates
Debates are a great tool to help inform voters. Candidates typically take turns answering questions on what changes they plan to make in the office they are running for. Voters can learn a lot of helpful information about a candidate and what changes they plan to make if elected.3) Consider Political Views
As you research a candidate you're considering voting for, take a look at their political views. You can see if their views match up with your personal views and this is a helpful way to help distinguish which candidate will get your vote.Above we metioned it's important to get to know a political candidate's personal history and changes they've made in office (if they've held office before).
